The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation helps people who suffer from the disease and their environment, to improve their quality of life.
The FEM offers rigorous information on the disease and related issues through the Multiple Sclerosis Observatory, which historically was published on a separate and independent website from the corporate site. This situation was not optimal to take advantage of the Observatory’s potential for generating traffic and, therefore, we have moved all the content to the main website. A migration project of a very complex website with a large volume of content and traffic to integrate it into the FEM website. The site was developed on Typo3 technology that we have converted to WordPress format. In addition, we have carried out a migration of the SEO positioning in such a way that there has been no loss of positioning and, in just two weeks, we have managed to transfer the organic traffic of the EM Observatory to the FEM website.
After the migration and upgrade phase, we have added an online community layer to structure all the content, resources, events, services, etc. offered by the FEM on its website under the umbrella of the EM community. In this way, all the people who are part of the social base of the foundation (beneficiaries, partners, donors, volunteers and supporters) have a unique username and password to carry out any action on the web. And all this activity will be automatically recorded in the CRM for future segmentation and marketing automation.
